இந்தப் போட்டியில், 5 வயதுக்கு உட்பட்டவர்களுக்கான பிரிவில், சண்டிகரை சேர்ந்த சான்வி அகர்வால் என்ற சிறுமி கலந்து கொண்டார். இந்தத் தொடரில் தொடக்கம் முதலே சிறப்பாக விளையாடிய சான்வி, இரண்டாம் இடம் பிடித்துள்ளார். இது, இவர் பங்கேற்ற முதல் தேசிய செஸ்போட்டியாகும். முதல் முயற்சியிலேயே இரண்டாம் இடத்தை தட்டிச் சென்று சான்வி சாதனைப் படைத்துள்ளார்.
