குற்றத்தின் நிழலில் குழந்தைகள்

மொத்தத் தமிழகத்தையும் அதிர்ச்சியில் உறைய வைத்திருக்கிறது அந்தச் சம்பவம். சென்னையின் அடுக்குமாடிக் குடியிருப்பில் 12 வயதுக் குழந்தையை செக்யூரிட்டி முதல் பிளம்பர் வரை பலரும் மாதக்கணக்கில் பாலியல் வன்முறைக்கு உள்ளாக்கிய கொடூரம்…  இதயம் நடுங்கச்செய்கிறது. 300-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட வீடுகளிருந்தும், ஒரு குழந்தைக்கு நிகழ்ந்த தொடர் கொடூரத்தைக் கவனிக்க யாருக்கும் நேரமிருக்கவில்லை.  நகர்ப்புற வாழ்க்கையில் மனிதர்களிடையே ஒட்டுறவின்மையும், பாதுகாப்பின்மையும் அதிகரித்துக்கொண்டே போகிறது. வாழ்வாதாரம் தேடி இடைவிடாது ஓடிக்கொண்டே யிருப்பதுதான் வாழ்க்கையென்றாகிவிட்டது. குழந்தைகள் அநியாயமாகக் கைவிடப்படுகிறார்கள்.

குழந்தைகள் விஷயத்தில் முழுப்பொறுப்பும் பெற்றோருக்குத்தான் இருக்கிறது. உடல் ரீதியாக, மன ரீதியாக, செயல்பாட்டு ரீதியாகக் குழந்தையிடம் நிகழும் மாற்றங்களைக் கூர்ந்து கவனித்து, தலைகோதி மனம்விட்டுப் பேசி, பிரச்னையைப் புரிந்துகொள்ள வேண்டும்.

குழந்தைகளுக்கு அடிக்கடி வயிற்றுவலி வந்தாலோ, பிறப்புறுப்பில் ரத்தக்கறை இருந்தாலோ, குழந்தை அடிக்கடி சிறுநீர் கழித்தாலோ உடனடியாக மருத்துவரிடம் அழைத்துச் செல்ல வேண்டும்.  எந்தவிதக் காரணமுமில்லாமல் குழந்தைகளின் படிப்பு, விளையாட்டு போன்ற செயல்பாடுகளில் ஆர்வம் குறைந்தாலோ; அதிக கோபம், அழுகை, சோகம், தனிமை, அடம்பிடித்தல், தூக்கமின்மை போன்ற பாதிப்புகள் தென்பட்டாலோ உடனடியாக மருத்துவரிடம் அழைத்துச்செல்ல வேண்டும்.
